Model Overview

The 2018 Kia Optima Plug-in Hybrid is a satisfying and stylish 4-door sedan with the added benefit of being a plug-in hybrid.

The optima offers the choice of three different powertrains. The LX and EX trims offering a 185-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a Sportmatic six-speed automatic transmission. The LX 1.6T comes with a 178-hp 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Both the SX & SX Limited come with a 245-hp 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a Sportmatic six-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features include electronic stability control, traction control, 4-wheel disc ABS brakes, front active headrests and 7 airbags. Available features include Panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats and Nappa leather seating surfaces.

The Optima Plug-In Hybrid is a carry-over for 2018.
